At Shield Bar Marketing, our unwavering commitment lies in doing right by our clients while delivering professional and consistent marketing solutions. Nikole’s journey began in 1999 when she started crafting HTML websites for her close circle of friends and family. Over time, her knowledge and expertise grew, and she transitioned to designing websites using WordPress, leveraging its powerful features. With a background of 15 years in the print media industry, Nikole also enjoys helping to create captivating logos, business cards, brochures, and more, ensuring a comprehensive approach to visual branding.
But her story doesn’t stop there. Over the next several decades, Nikole built the Shield Bar Marketing brand serving clients and adding areas of expertise to her team. In 2024, she acquired Copper Cup Marketing and more than doubled her client base and staff. Today, we continue to expand with our knowledge in the latest marketing methods and best practices.

Founder & CEO
Nikole is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, and marketing consultant with over 20 years of experience in marketing, branding, and public speaking. Her career spans working with startups and established corporations, including co-founding and selling a successful business.
Fun fact: Nikole has a German steel and bronze carousel horse in her backyard.
Jennifer Cordero
Chief Operating Officer
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in marketing and business strategy. As our COO, she oversees daily operations and brings a wealth of knowledge from working across agencies, corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits. She’s passionate about strategy and solving problems through people, processes, and technology.
Fun fact: Jennifer is a proud chihuahua mom who loves to spend her free time gardening.

In her spare time, Sara enjoys entertaining friends, traveling, and working out. Her guiding principle in life and work is to treat others as you’d want to be treated.
Sarah Harper
Account Associate
Sarah has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, events, and communications, with a focus on the entertainment and healthcare industries. She specializes in crafting thoughtful campaigns and creating content that resonates with audiences.
Off the clock, you’ll find Sarah traveling, reading, knitting, and capturing her adventures through photography, often exploring new places with her spouse and their two dogs.
History of the Shield Bar brand
The Shield Bar was originally registered as a cattle brand in Montana in 1942 by Wilk Riesland (Nikole’s grandfather). It adorned thousands of head of cattle as a well-recognized brand, marketed as Shield Bar Herefords. Ask anyone who knew Wilk to describe him and they would say he was an honest man, whose word was as good as gold. Nikole is bringing these traits to the ever-changing online world. Wilk passed away in 2004.
2013
Shield Bar Marketing launches. Our very first client signs on and remains a valued partner to this day.
2014
Welcomed our inaugural team member, who continues to be a pivotal part of our journey.

We moved to sunny Arizona, broadening our horizons.
